Raising it Right’s (RIR) mission is to help candidates, organizations and merchants do business online affordably. I started RIR after learning of a friend’s experience. She was asked to pay $840 of the first $1,000 her group raised just to have the option to accept credit cards on her site. She was liable for it even if she didn’t raise a penny. In later years, over half of the first $1,000 donated would go to fees. That’s not how groups want to spend their money or what donors want gifts to pay for!
I figured I could do better. A LOT better. So at RIR, the monthly Maintenance Fee is just $5. When donations come in, you pay a $0.25 per Transaction Fee and 5% of the amount donated. You keep all the rest!
Compared to my friend’s experience, raise $1,000 in your first year with RIR via 20 $50 donations and your entire cost is just $115.00! Raise $2,000 the same way and it’s just $170.00! That’s $720.00 more in your pocket! That’s significant. That’s Raising It Right!
Raising It Right is also a play on words. We don’t just raise money the right way, we raise money for the political right. We help donors connect with those we’d be happy donating money to. We watch out for those advocating for more taxes, government and regulation. We check for those claiming CO2 is a poisonous gas. We inspect clients to make sure they’re not pushing kinder and gentler Central Planning. Because we’re Raising It Right!
Finally, we do more than provide online fund raising tools. We actively promote you across the web. We promote Raising It Right as a hub for online giving. We want people to find quality Candidates, Organizations and Merchants all in one place. They can give to one or several because we’ve done the legwork to find and attract them here.
